Another Chance at 1Password

Posted by: admin on December 24th, 2007

If you have passed up previous opportunities to grab this great piece of Software, the folks from Agile provided this email today.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

I am feeling very festive today and decided to partner with MacZOT! to bring you some huge savings on 1Password!

This is an incredibly special time of year for me with the anticipation of Christmas. Since Christmas day is on the 25th, I had planned to celebrate by giving everyone 25% off everything in our store. However, we have also seen the celebration of Hanukkah and will soon see the start of Kwanzaa. I am feeling festive so I am going to add 8 percent (8 days and nights for Haunkkah) and 7 percent (7 days of Kwanzaa) making for an extra Merry 40% Off Sale!

The deal is so good that we can only let it run for a very limited time, so jump on over and check it out now!

Remember, the Online Store now supports gifts, so if you are looking for that perfect gift for someone, 1Password can’t be beat! All gifts are guaranteed to be delivered in time for Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Posted by: admin on December 21st, 2007

The folks at MacTech are providing an in-depth analysis at the different virtualization alternatives. You can read the full article here. It looks as though the type of OS you use (Vista or XP) might determine which virtualization software is right for you.

Etching that Mac

Posted by: admin on December 12th, 2007

I did a previous post on customizing your Macbook. Today, I came across this article on Cult of Mac that reviews some of the companies that are making a splash with etching all different Mac products. Some of this stuff looks great.

Bento Goes Public

Posted by: admin on December 7th, 2007

For those of you that have not had a chance (and you have upgraded to Leopard), Bento has a public demo available. As I provided in my previous post, I agree with Jefferey (from Apple Briefs) that this product is missing some critical things I would need from case management. However, I will say it again, this is a matter of taste. Why not give it a look, after-all, it’s a free demo.
So far I have not found one company that is not willing to let potential consumers demo case management software before making the purchase.

Bento and A Fellow Blogger

I found yet another slick Legal/Mac blog here. This one serves the additional satisfying purpose that he shares my views on Bento in his review of the product as a Case Management tool.

a mac lawyer’s notebook

Posted by: admin on December 2nd, 2007

Stumbled upon this blog today.

I’m moving to Macs and writing about the experience. This blog will focus on two areas: (1) how I’ve planned and implemented the move and (2) how I’m using Mac software in my practice. (I’ll try my hand at video podcasting to illustrate the latter.) Hope you find something helpful!

Clearly, Kevin Morton is web savvy. He is planning webcasts and has a slick site. Check it out.

MacSanta

Posted by: admin on December 1st, 2007

Get 20% off on deals at MacSanta. There is different deals up every day.

‘Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the house
Not an input device was stirring, not even the mouse.
The stockings were hung by the computers with care,
In hopes that MacSanta soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of software danced in their heads.
I heard a noise in the office, and checked on the sound,
Down the chimney, MacSanta, he came with a bound.

He was dressed all in Bondi, from his ports to his screen,
he was so darned shiny, one blazin’ machine.
A bundle of coupons he had flung on his back,
he looked like a circular, just opening his pack.

He spoke just one word (in that voice they call Fred),
“Discounts”, yes “Discounts” is just what he said.
With coupon MACSANTA07, I saved twenty percent.
On software this great? That’s money well-spent!

Then he sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a Basso,
and away they all flew, they really hauled ass-o!
But I heard him exclaim, as he took to the air:
“Happy Christmas to all! Enjoy your software!”
