The beta for Apple’s web browser is out. You can download it here. Top Sites and Cover Flow seem to be the exciting additions. We’ll keep an eye on the reviews and keep you posted on what we think of the Safari in the weeks to come. Note: I would not recommend beta versions on office Macs. Try it out on the home computer.

Posted by: admin on February 27th, 2009Many Ways to Save Time
Posted by: admin on February 18th, 2009You have to find at least one time saver in this list.
I swore I posted this. I guess not. So you have an iPhone. You are a lawyer. Go to iPhone JD and stay caught up on all things iPhone/Lawyer at iPhone JD. They have been going strong since last year with great content. Swing by and say, “Hi, from Law With An Apple.”
Pages. Fail.
Posted by: admin on February 11th, 2009Dear Pages,
I want to work with you. I really do. But you have this nasty habit of luring me into believing that spell check is working when, in fact, it is not. What kills me is that every other program I use in OSX, your spell check works flawlessly. Except for the one that matters most: Pages. I am not a terrible speller. In fact, if I can toot my own horn, I am at least average. But I am not the best typist. Big fingers and too much coffee is to blame. So please drop me a line or let me know when you have your act together. I think Pages looks better and runs better than all the other Word clones out there. Including Word. Anyway, good luck.

Better Late
Posted by: admin on February 4th, 2009We had a great law blogger meet-up a few weeks back and I wanted to say thanks to all that attended:
1. Jill Pugh, www.EmploymentLawWA.com
2. David Packman, www.injusticeinSeattle.org
3. Conrad Saam, www.avvoblog.com
4. Shalini Gujavarty, http://chtriangle.blogspot.com
5. James Kotlowski, www.duiseattle.com
6. Dan Harris http://www.chinalawblog.com/
An interesting development occurred between this meeting and the last. At our last meeting, everyone wondered what was the use of twitter. Among the approximately 15 folks that came, none of the bloggers used twitter. But the young law students in attendance explained to us the great fun of tweeting. Most of the law bloggers were skeptical, to say the least.
At this meeting most of the attorneys were using twitter. The landscape changes quickly. Great to see everyone and I look forward to seeing you at the next meet-up (or tweet-up).
