I made a quick video on how to set up Profiles form the ScanSnap Manager which solves the problem of scanning to folders.

There are workarounds: scan to print, and save the PDF to a folder of your choice from the print menu. It\\\\\\\'s a minor inconvenience, but it works. Scanning to other applications like Evernote also works fine in Snow Leopard.

I did. I am still disappointed that "Scan to Folder" is still inoperable. And I really think that Quick Menu should have been fixed before release. Of course my at-home HP Photo Smart C3180 also is unable to scan with the upgrade. It is the worst I have seen for driver issues in a while.

Did you read the update?
For ScanSnap S300M, S500M, S510M, and S1500, scanning is supported on Snow Leopard, but Quick Menu does not work and Scan to Folder currently does not work.

This is exactly why I am waiting. When my scansnap is working, then I can upgrade.
