Yet another way to use your torrent client in a legal way. Wired’s editor is providing his own books “Cult of Mac” and “Cult of iPod” for free. The business model is based on Bill Pollok of No Starch Press who has enjoyed some success by using torrent as a marketing tool. 

This is either brilliant marketing or one of the most vile things ever brought to fruition (and will still be thought of, by others, as brilliant). It is Moonvertising. My assessment is based on whether this is a joke

An exceptionally straightforward program with plenty under the hood, if you want to drill down. The program can also be used to move data from DVD to your iPod or Apple TV.
